WEBSTERS FALLS MEET..Sunday July 18th
Directions: follow the 403 to Hamilton and take the Main St W. exit. Turn right onto Cootes drive and follow it as it changes in to King St, then Highway 8 West and then Brock Rd. In Greenville turn right on to Harvest Rd. Then turn right onto Short Rd. This will take you to Webster's Falls.
I will post directions from hi-way 5 later.
I was thinking of meeting up around 12 noon which should give everyone time to get there without having to get up too early on a sunday morning.
How does this sound to everyone else?
Daisy..could you make it for that time?
I think there will be a charge for parking as its a weekend but as I said the max is $5 per car.
If this is a problem there is free parking a bit further down the rd at tews falls which we will also be hiking to(for those who want to hike) but the nice area for picnicing/bbq'ing is closer to websters falls(quite a hike from tews falls if you've got coolers,chairs ,bbq's etc).
Anyone who would like to meet earlier & drive down together to Websters Falls..we wouldnt mind driving up to Licks parking lot @ Bronte Harbour & driving along Lakeshore through Burlington to Websters falls(nice scenic route with another falls on the way). If anyone is interested in doing this let us know..we could meet up @ licks around 10am.
