the sony CDX-F5500 has subwoofer control and rear aux input. it seems that it is possible to use this HU and maintain the use of the in dash aux input and also control the stock SUB. this seems to be a fairly well documented question usually with a diagram and instrucions on how to splice some RCA's into the honda harness, etc.

my question is: is it possible to install with out hacking the wiring harness?

i am looking for the easiest solution with the least probability for wire cutting.

Yes it is possible. Instead of using butt connectors to tap into the aux and sub harness use Brendan's wire harness info.
