wax off outside panels!banylo 03-31-2003, 07:38 PM i was wondering if anyone knew how to remove wax of the plastic outside panels. i've been staring at it for the last couple of days and its driving me nuts :x :!: someone please help. i'm scared of using something to strong and having a lighter spot on that area. :cry: bqbauer 03-31-2003, 07:53 PM Not much help now, but here's one for future reference. I found with my last vehicle, and now with the Element, that it is easy to get fresh wax off textured plastic. Wipe off the wax glob, then just rub the spot briskly & firmly with a clean towel/rag to get off the wax. It works well, and several years later my old vehicle still has no wax marks on its gray fender trim.
