I'm big on firmware upgrades for my cd/dvd players...is there one out there by chance for the stock CD player (LX) that will make it play MP3's? Its not entirely important, just would be convenient.

Example, my Apex DVD player now plays nearly any audio/video format, RCE immune,region free, and macrovision free with a just a firmware upgrade ( from a foreign equivalent unit )...any chance this possible with the E's cd player for the sake of playing MP3's?

Kinda silly I know, but had to ask around....
