I have an LX 4wd all stock, and in terms of audio set up, I have a AM/FM Radio and single disc CD player in the dash. I do not have an MP3 jack, and I was wondering how I can get one? I think the problem will arise in that I want JUST the jack (yes, I blew all the money on the iPod and cant afford a better head unit), and nothing else... What are my options? Thanks!

I looked like crazy for an answer to this one for a long time and the only answer I could come up with was getting an FM modulator. They are available at Walmart (auto section) and Crutchfield (online)

You'll want the hard-wired type that plugs into the antenna and has to be switched on (avoid the wireless things, they suck). The only thing I haven't figured out yet is where to mount the switch and jack. Right now I temporarily have the switch tapes inside the glove box and the cable hanging out under the dash. As soon as I find an appropriate place to install them I will.

Hmm, I recall a thread not too long ago that talked about the LX headunits actually having an AUX input on the back. The only difference between the EX and LX sound system is the speaker setup and the AUX input is connected to the dash of the EX (but the LX still has one.

Keep looking around. All you'll need to do is pull the HU and somehow tap into that.
