Daffy, You live in NW NJ, So do I, where are you from. I am in Sussex County near Lk Hopatcong. Sept probably would be a good time because the weather is uaually cooler then.

The plan is for Sept 20/21 weekend. By the responses of this thread there should be one hell of a turnout.

End of Aug either myself or someone else will get an estimate head count and let the park know and get back to you all with cost and info for the meet.

Bring lunch, take pics, no age limit, cooking ok, sharing food ok, bring your E, Free! Overnight available at Beaver Pond Campsite for approx.$15. Looks like 20; could be more. :wink: Daffy

Yeah it looks like a lot of people. I've been getting messages from the other 2 sites on people coming. Looks like it is going to be one hell of a meet. The weather is supposed to be great on Saturday too. :D

Sat. will be a good day! I will try to get there a little early to select an area in the Silver Mine parking lot for our group. As Klynch is closer, perhaps you can arrive early also. I am sure that anyone coming will notice the Es so will see where we are. Suggest bringing some chairs since the ground will probably be wet. My list has 21 replies; hope to see everyone there! :D 8)

I suggest the same. Bring some chairs and tablecloth if you plan on BBQ-ing. Also, if you can bear it, bring long pants if you plan on venturing into the woods. Some bug spray and other things you use for camping to protect yourself from bugs. It didn't rain that much by me but we are expecting thundershowers tonight and the site has a lot of tree cover meaning it will be damp there tomorrow.

From what I'm seeing looks like the weather is going to be pretty good today... hope to see everyone there!

I live 20 minutes from the mountain. It is now 8:45 AM, 67 degrees and the sky is partly cloudy. It is supposed to be 77 today and cloudy but no rain.

I just checked weather .com and it is supposed to be mostly cloudy with NO rain so I'll see ya there at around noon.

:lol: I just picked up my E today! I love it! It is Black EX 4WD, roof rack and side step. I have always wanted to be a part of a car club, I just never had a car that people made clubs for. I DO NOW and I'm happy! I live in Brooklyn and work in midtown Manhattan.

Did you get an 03 leftover, Here in Jersey a few of the dealers I know are trying hard to push out the 03's at a good deal, in fact no one has any 04's yet. Well good luck with your new E

:lol: Yes, I bought a 03 because I was able to get a good deal since they are trying to make room for the 04's. The only difference between the 03 and the 04's is there will be a armrest for the passenger seat. Plus the keyless entry. Good Luck with yours also!
