i basically took out the 6.5 and cut the hole out until the 8 fit, in order to do this you need to get a thin sealed sub like the pioneer thin one, so it seals right. the thin pioneer sub you dont see the back of the cone it is all enclosed in the subwoofer frame. my new sub is an mb quart which in this case since i can see the cone on the back and it's not sealed, i fiberglassed a faceplate of sortes to mount the 8 in and then screwed that to the stock box and sealed it all up. sorry but i dont really have pics of it.
