How much sway do you have with manufacturers?

How come we don't see any of these wheels available for less than a grand a piece? (style wise)

I was trying to track down some turbo fan wheels for my buddies new 'vette, and the only way that look was going to work for him was $10,000 worth of custom wheels.

Sad. We're all retro all over the place with these muscle cars and no one is filling in that niche in the wheel market.

but on...

and can clear the brakes.

Thank you for your comments, cursh

The vintage style wheel you posted is not available in one-piece cast construction, that I am aware of. Why this is I'm not sure, but all similar styles to what you have pictured can be custom CNC cut (forged). As you've found out, though, this is not easy on the wallet.

There's not much we can control when it comes to manufacturer's production decisions, but I imagine if there is enough demand for a particular style one of the manufacturers will be willing to offer it. If you know a lot of people looking for this styling, I recommend emailing the manufacturers that offer vintage style wheels directly. A good place to start would be Cragar Wheels,.
