Time to replace the Geolandars...

Glad to see this place still kicking. Still am in the honeymoon phase with mine. :)

Looks like I can't squeeze much more life from my old P225/70SR-16 Yokohama Geolandar H/T-S tires. No complaints other than noise, and I almost always am playing music, so even that wasn't a big deal.

What's the favorite all season (SoCal) tire these days? Costco an option.

Oh, one other complaint: if I was enthusiastic with the clutch, it was really easy to burn rubber, but that's more due to front wheel drive than tire, right?

Thanks for any recs!

Nanook I'm on my 2nd set of Yokohama YK 580's. Got 40K on my last set. The sucky OEM's died @ 30K. Same with a set of Kumho Solus. Run all seasons year round livin' near Denver Not a bad price either. As for chirping the tires; someone on the forum once said "It's a tourquey little 4-banger".

Unfortunately no more Geolandars, they've been discontinued in our size. Current set I'm on were cheap with great reviews, Uniroyal Tiger Paws. They've been superb so far, good ice and wet traction, with 1/2 the road noise of the Yokahama's (Had 3 sets of Geo's and loved them but they were loud).

I'm running DynaPro A/Ts and they are great. Only 6 ply, so I didn't take a huge hit on my mileage (20.5 avg: 24 on the interstate with the AC off at 75)

Look dope, Work great on fire roads, well reviewed to last 50k (I'm only 10% in)

Thanks for all the replies so far! Dang, nothing resembling a consensus yet, though... :/
