Just finished your thread. Super rad build! Sorry to hear about your axle. I spent my Sunday under the car intermittently bleeding the clutch after my slave failed and started leaking. I'm also glad to see confirmation that the brakes on the Element are indeed cursed

^thanks nerdariostomp.
Yeah, I replaced my slave too. It seems its the same few parts on all 03-06 that fail first eventually. Still love her though...

I used cargo straps from harbor freight. Cut to size.

When searching for all weather floor mats for our cars it seems we have very limited selection.
My 10 year old Honda all weather mats looked aged and I wasn't very happy with the way they trapped dirt, rocks, water, etc. especially around the door edges. In my search I came across Novline custom all weather floor mats made specifically for Elements and decided to give them a try (I searched this forum for 'novline' and appears no one tried these yet).

Price paid: $99 shipped and that includes 3 mats. Unlike Honda's all weather mats the front mat is split into 2.
Quality: rubbery, sturdy enough to keep the important edges nicely aligned/covered, feels well made, no funny smells. Front mats use factory anchors to stay in place. I only wish the black color was a little duller, it comes off a little on a shiny side (not really a big deal).
Fit: Overall fitment is excellent. Only edges that I though could have aligned better were right under the front seats. Back passenger mat could have extended further under the seats. According to their description these should fit all 03 to 11 Element, but I don't know about that. SC guys will probably have issues with the center console.

In conclusion, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommended these to anyone looking for alternative to Honda's all weather mats.
BTW: I'm NOT affiliated with Novline and this is just my opinion.

Old, dirty mat:
