was there any word on the pricing for the special colors? I wanted the grey scale camouflage... you DO have me down for both sets which is what i wanted, thank you! I guess we will know in a few days as to when the deadline for money is and how to get it to them?

Thanks for chiming in everyone! The question has been raised, "what about clips". if you go to their website there is a large list of pricing for existing kits. My estimate is NO more than $50, but probably high $30 if you go through SAMCO. There may be lower cost alternatives elsewhere, but that can be found and your own leisure, Im solely concentrating my efforts to get the hoses going.

So far there is only enough interest to make the heater hoses a go, sadly. If we don't get 15, it ain't going to happen. This might be the time where those of you who said you could pick up 2 if needed, well I think it's needed. Put your name down twice, please.

ok I didn't know if they were sticking to that percentage of a price jump or not. I'm still down for my one set, but with holidays coming up, I don't think dropping 500$ on two sets of hoses is a viable option for me...

Thank you for getting back to me on this, I hope the prices were OK?

Ideally 15 for each would be great although a dozen would be OK to get things moving. I would like 12 kits on the heater set and at least 15 on the coolant which could be a mix of the two years due to the one tool being used in both kits.

I would nominate our distributor in California Options Autos as the group buy vendor, I just need to run it by him first which Will today if you are happy with that arrangement?

With 18 total, I think Mark is bending his rules and this is moving right along. Glad he understood there is tool sharing. Everyone check out OptionsAuto.com. They have a good selection of stuff and will be the vendor for this. I told mark the prices are OK and gave him the list we have above. Also asked about clip kit prices again. Get your monies together!

Maybe you could ask Mark to include the Clip Kits. I looked at the Optionsauto website and the clip kits ranged from $18-$59. IMO, it might not hurt to ask b/c I think this whole thing is pretty expensive. He sounds like a reasonable guy in his email.

Good idea. But yes, these are expensive, that was laid out from the beginning, hence the links to their website and price lists, and the need for a group buy. Shouldn't be a surprise. Its just the nature of the beast with silicone.
