So the drivers side "cabinet" is built on a old seat frame and is removable just as you would the seat. Fold down from the wall, release mount at the car, and pull out. No modifications were done to the car at all for this project. Trying to keep the weight down to what the seat was. under 40lbs. I guess the only thing that will make it a cabinet and not a book shelf will be the doors I have yet to add. Again it will have all sides but a back and top.

Same thing goes for the bench. It's built from an old seat frame and flips up to the wall just as the original seat. So I can run Bench and Cabinet or swap one of them for a rear element seat on that side.

here is the unfinished cabinet on the tailgate and "clicked in" before pushed up to the wall and attached just like a rear seat. Just put the "cabinet" on the scale and I'm at 28lbs. should come in under 40lbs which is the goal.

done for the day and need to hit the store for more wood and parts. got all sides done except the front and doors. Not sure if I will stain it or paint it. Leaning toward a dark stain.
