New Element owner

Hey everyone!

Originally I was in the market for a 2006 E with 100,000 miles for $11,999 but the problem was the dealership owner's son used it while it was online for sale. I got frustrated calling them for a test drive and not having it available. So the search continued.

I stumbled on a 2007 Element EX on cars.com listed at $12,999 with 75000 miles. I thought it was a joke. So I called and it was still available. The problem was it was located in Glens Burnie MD and I lived 3hours away.

To make a long story short, after hours of negotiating and paperwork, I'm now a owner of a Galaxy gray E at $13,218 walkout. I couldn't have been happier. What made this purchase ever better, the original single owner documented everything she did from brake pad changes, recalls, and fluid changes. That alone gave me a sense of comfort to know I purchased a well taken care of Element.

I'm looking forward to pick everyone's brain to get some ideas and info on how to enjoy the element.

Ive been reading up on gas miledge issues and I'm curious to see how you're doing on your E. I see the #'s and would like to know if you can share that info as well.
