As they say, The ship has sailed. No new E and I doubt that Honda even cares. You have a terrific vehicle. Maintain it, if you want more power, put a small boost turbo on it. Spend some bucks for a 6sp conversion or rebuild the AT, if needed. I haven't run any numbers but I'm betting a major build - motor, trans, clutch would be around 6/7K at a decent shop and give you another 100+ miles. Enjoy.

It does not matter how good something is it is the image that sells it.
The Element was not cool enough to be seen in.
It did not sell well.
End of story.
And yes people still see the inside of mine and say "what a good idea it is".

Its straight from the www.honda.com and it would be nice if they'd come out with another 2 door SUV

Pushing 200k

My classic E is going to hit 200,000 miles this summer. No major issues at all but I am fearing having to get something new if I do have a major failure. I am most likely not going to go for an SUV unless the new E is actually going to be produced. Nothing will ever come close to the E. I am hoping to get 200,000 more miles. If the advertising was there for us I am sure the E wouldn't be dead. A friend got in mine and was amazed, she searched and searched and ended up buying a 2011 about 300 miles away. No one knew how versatile the E was/is. Hell, Honda could even steal our DIY ideas and manufacture their own OEM sleep platforms, slot covers, screens, and camper conversions, etc. Now blue in the face... I am done rambling.

That would be cool. Small turbo kit that could be used wiyh the AT and that could be install without rewiring the whole thing...

.... And is not any of those fake electrics turbos on ebay...

I don't see ANY Element in that design - neither function nor looks. It makes me think of a kludged CR-V from whichever idiot approved the Crosstour. Like I said so many times before, Honda no longer has the talent to build something even approaching the Element.
