Just got them about 2 hrs ago. What I can tell you is that steering is a little heavier and car "feels" more stable. I, now also know that my front steel wheel was out of round, cause vibration in steering wheel is gone. Will give update when driven more and when it rains.

Got to drive them on wet roads today. It seems to have good traction, of course, I wasn't about to do anything crazy on New Years Day. The footprint is much larger, so the E "handles" quicker. There is some tire noise, but that doesn't bother me, cant hear it with the radio on. There is more road feeling in steering wheel, but I guess that's because its a 55 series tire as opposed to the OEM's 70 aspect. It rides a little harsher, may be due to tire pressure being 38 front and 40 back. ( Was told not to go below mid 30's to protect rims from potholes.) As of now, am satisfied with purchase, although kinda costly.

I haven't considered that, yet. I use my E for the beach and hiking, so I kinda enjoy the height. Plus our roads are really bad.

Everytime it rains hard, we get potholes all over the place, even on the freeways. Once in awhile, it rains really hard and places get flooded. Its nice not having to pull over because you cant go through it.

You haven't seen our roads, especially the freeways. Its like a mine field. You dont need to go to a slalom track to see how your E handles.
