It's been a while since I visited this thread. I have officially retired the 1979 Gold Wing. Oh, It's still running good. Still rides like New, ( Thanks Honda ! ) But the old knees, just can't take the weight like they could in the past. So, I got myself something a bit lighter.
I went with an 06 Honda Shadow Saber ! It started life as an 1100 cc bike. My last modification, transformed it to 1300cc. It now has a cam kit, Jetted carbs, and V&H free flow Pipes. Not that it lacked power before. It's just that I had access to some parts for Free! Take a look ! Let me know what you think. First the Old Wing ! The New Steed . Before the bags went on. Home made Grill guard, Blacked out lower front bumper trim,and Grill, Undercoating, Vent-Visors, Bug deflector, EOC Sticker, Honda Floor mats, Honda Wheel locks, Eurotech Engineering Fog lights, Dual tone Horn from a junk Caddie, Oh and the 2.98$ walfart windshield tint strip, that's got to go when EOC puts one out.
