So how does your system sound? How's the back-up camera?

I'm floored by the SQL of the system so far. Still tweaking the gains and X-overs, but so far one of (IMO) best sounding systems I've ever owned.

Back up camera is sweet. Got the one with the infra-red LED so it's clear as day in the dark. Has the "lane" grid overlay that is useful too. Don't know how we ever got by without it.

Did you hook up to the reverse from the UDRB or did you get power from the wire in tail light. If latter, which color wire is hot? Mahalo.

I pulled the right rear light out and tapped into the green/red wire coming out of the reverse lightbulb. Then ran a wire up to the dash and hooked the deck and camera power lead to that.

A few updates/pics

Finally got a chance to work on a few odds, and ends.
The new bass amp came with a remote bass gain unit, it was mounted in a plastic housing for mounting under the dash.

But that would be too easy....So I modded it to fit into the forward tray.

Drilled a hole just big enough for the knob to fit.

Cut the wire down about 4 feet, and soldered/heat shrinked it back together. Made it easier to run the wires too.

Mounted up, I can rest my hand on the P-brake handle and reach the knob easy for "oh s#!t, its a cop" encounters, and wife (who for some reason doesn't share my eye rattling bass obsession) riding shot gun.
