I found an Element on Craigslist that was posted that very evening, private seller (I don't do dealers). It was a 2005 EX in Magnesium Metallic with 61,700 miles for $11,000. She said it was FWD but she also said it had a rear sunroof. NOW - all of you on here know that only comes with the AWD Element. And thanks to you guys I know that too. I got her VIN and did the VIN decoder and that said AWD too. I told her I would come back down the next day if she would drop to $10,000. She said okay. I said DONE! I took a greyhound down and purchased it IMMEDIATELY.

nice! Good come-up! Yeah, my element was listed as a 2006 on the craigslist ad, but when I had the owner send me pictures, I saw the seatbelt was in the front seat, so it was actually a 2007/8 model, so same thing too. haha

Just thought I would add my story since I am back into an Element. I owned a 2003 EX a while back and got lost and thought I wanted a Honda Ridgeline. Well, after much frustration I pulled the trigger on my "basically" new 2008 Honda Element AWD EX. After much searching, I found her with only 17,352 miles, clean car fax and auto check records. I thought it was too good to be true, but after flying in and checking her out, she was perfect. Drove her 700 miles back to Wisconsin and couldn't be happier! The best part, got her for $17,500 out the door!!! Glad to be back in an E.

We just scored a 2008 AT AWD LX with 82000 miles for $9500.00 at a Nissan Dealer in the Chicago area. It's very clean and thanks to this group I was able to get the price down from $11,000 based on what I've learned. We brought "Henry" home on Christmas Eve!
