check engine light and engine revving

Posting from my phone so sorry for the short sentences.

Our new element. The check engine light is on and the code said something about a knock sensor. Whet is this? Is it an easy and or inexpensive fix?

Second, when in Park the engine rpms are not at 0. They're in between 1 and 2. Is this a major fix? Is this related to the check engine code?

Also. The knock issue is from pre-ignition which is not good. Could explain your high idle. But hopefully someone smarter then me can give you better advice

No warranty. It made an 900 mile trip home straight no stops with no problems though

Is there any hesitation from the mptor like a loss of power
