Carbon fiber hood, LA local pick up $150
Ive had this in my garage for the past couple years which means im never going to do anything with it. Was bought here from a forum member that had sanded the surface prior getting it ready for paint. Typical with these is the pointed ends will need a little patch work but nothing major or out of the ordinary.
This is a strait bolt on hood and NOT the cheap version that needs extra support work and mounts. The weight savings is significant as this can literally be picked up with two fingers. This was to go onto my prior 03 EX when the intention was to get custom work done to it, then sold it to pick up the current 07 SC. The hood should fit all years. Im looking to get what I paid for it as is which is $150 Please PM me here on the board if your interested. Im located off the 405 freeway and Inglewood ave exit about 5 minutes south of LAX, or if you dont drive like me up to 15 minutes south of LAX, near what used to be the TRW facility in the South Bay. |

Didnt get pics in daylight, sorry. Will get better ones asap. As stated the surface has been being prepped at one point for paint but paint has never been applied. It still needs the typical clean up on the edges and as mentioned the corners. Its sat where is as is since I bought it. Its a strait bolt on hood meaning it has internal reinforcements and a steel hood latch catch. Ive tried to catch those bits but the hood needs a good cleaning. All in all is a finer hood than the $800 carbon fiber hood that was on my prior PT Loozer.
My intention was to paint it body color with the center indentation being matte blck and fill in the windshield washer jet holes. ![]() ![]() ![]()
