Jack & tool kit

Does the element come with one? I've looked in the usual places, but I haven't found it yet. Or am I going to have to pick up an after market jack before I get a flat on the road?

Its under the spare tire.

It wasn't there. I have no idea what happened to it so where could I get another?

A dealer would have them but at a premium price. At the salvage yard where my oldest son works they have tons of them in a big box. Pick several and return the ones that don't work (all modern cars have jacks that are very similar in form and operation).

Jack: Honda p/n 89310-S3V-A04, $31 list, ~$22 online. If you need the "tool set" (lug wrench, jack handle, storage bag) p/n 89000-SCV-A00, that's another $15 / $11.

I wondered the same thing a while back when my wife's tire blew...I was told by the dealership it was under the spare tire....you would have to unscrew the spare tire off to reveal the the jack and tools.

Hm, I hadn't considered that the OP might not know that. It's on pages 277-278 of the 2003 owner's manual.

Mine was missing, bought mine at Honda Parts now, arrived about two days later. Trouble with going to a junkyard is getting one that fits in the spare well. Plus, all but one of the junkyards I visited did not have jacks available, apparently for insurance purposes. Just think of the guy pulling a transmission with a car on a spare tire jack.
