Most tint shops can throw in a banner like that for $20~$40, and will look a ton better than a static cling one. Static cling one will always have bubbles, so if its on the inside of the glass it will look horrible from outside, and if its on the outside it will not last very long in the weather.
Something like this, except it doesnt have to be that low or that dark (mine is 5% light transmission) & it only cost me $20.

The law? Uh, sure its legal.
Law enforcement here are pretty relaxed about tint, hell my tint guy has done quite a few extra dark setups for police officers. Drive responsibly & they leave ya alone, so many idiots here dont know how to drive cops have more than enough other crap to deal with.

It is window tint, so it is applied the same way. They cut a strip the length of the windshield, spray a little soapy water on the glass, place the tint on the window, then squeegee the water out from between the tint & the glass. The tint has a mild adhesive on it that is activated by the water.
The banner would be semi-permanent. It can be removed but not reused, as removal typically destroys the film. I don't see any reason why you would ever want/need to remove it.

I like the look of the banner. Gotta look into it when I get my windows tinted.
Do you think my Light in sight will stay attached to a tinted banner?

I used Black Magic Insta clink on my sunroof. I used a little soapy water and installed it without air bubbles

Has anyone been able to find banner tints that have "Honda" or "Element" on them? I had an old BMW with one and it looked cool.
