Bra, or braless
I'm trying to decide whether or not to add a bra. The E is garage kept at night, driven to back and forth to work each day, and then parked under cover during the day.
It will probably see rain 60% of the time. Thoughts? The reason I'm thinking about one is just protection for the front end from rock chips. Thanks. |

i've always hated the way bras look, and i've always heard that the paint under the bra will not dull as fast as the paint that is exposed.

I have always heard you need to remove the bra if it rains. And that works with cars and girlfriends.

My problem with bras is, while they are EXCELLENT for travel, too many people leave them on, which fades the paint differently and, unless it's taken off and allowed to dry (EVERY time), the constant water contact will destroy the paint underneath. Hopefully this helps....

I vote no bra as well . You could get some of the clear paint protection film and use that instead .

My E had a half bra when I bought it (covers hood only), and the paint is clearly worse underneath where the bra was. Sand & dirt get under them very easily, and it does wonders on a paint job.

Ok, gang...thanks for the feedback...no bra it is. Definitely don't want to muck up the paint.
