Meeting some friends at the Santa Anita Clubhouse for an afternoon of horseplay today.

I'm aiming for a 4pm arrival at Furnace Creek Friday. I'm rolling through Mojave, Randsburg/Johannesburg, Trona, and Wildrose which is my favorite route.

I will have my djembe for Saturday night.

Can't wait.

Also, he will be around in the late afternoons and evenings from Thurs night on.

So if your hear some strange noises in the trees (such as they are at DV) it will probably be Glenn, just hanging out looking for tacos.

Can u please explain how gift exchange works another time? The way it was explained for the Santa Barbara doesn't work for an extra prize. that would be mathematically impossible. Therefore I am unsure. I missed last time.

Wow. We had quite a gathering of Camping Fools last night.

This is gonna be a fun time!
Some people are on the road already. Patty, Jay and thier dog Betty are coming from Hailey, Idaho and probably driving through rather snowy conditions at the moment.
Randy and Alex are either driving down from Washington and will be moteling it at Furnace Creek Ranch (next door to the campground) or flying to Las Vegas or somewhere and picking up a rental to drive to DV.. (forgot to ask)
But godspeed and safe travels one and all.

People will begin arriving tomorrow, Thursday and Friday.

Not that it's going to stop me, but is the road open to Titus Canyon ?
Maybe Glen knows. Maybe it'll be a big surprise.
