Element AC problems like CR-V?

Hello,

Does anyone know if Elements use the same AC unit as the CR-V? The latter are notorious for failed AC compressor clutch, and one replacement doesn't do the trick. It's a design flaw and the AC repeatedly fails in the CR-V -- in the same years as Element production, I believe, 2003 -- 2011.

No problem if you're in Nome, Alaska, but I'll be relocating to TX soon.

FWIW the clutch part numbers are different: 38900-PZD-A00 for a 2003 Element and 38900-PNB-006 for a 2003 CR-V.

There have been numerous reports here of a/c compressor failures, but I don't know what percentage of the fleet that represents.
