Then mods of any sort are probably not in your wheelhouse. Almost anything you do is going to put your car out of spec.

@beeristasty did you ever get your solo? Can you add pictures please? Especially with swing away out. What are your thoughts on it since you've had it?

I finally got one in December from Wilco. The online site I ordered from couldn't complete the order and refunded my money after 2 months of me waiting. Wilco was able to ship one out about a day or 2 after I ordered directly from them, so go figure.

Back on topic - it's been sitting on my work table for about a month. I haven't installed it due to not having a full size spare, the holidays, and adopting a puppy at the last second. Priorities, I know...

I'll try to get it on this weekend and post some pics. I can tell you this thing is very well built. I would say the high cost is justified if you can afford and appreciate high quality products. They don't skimp anywhere - I was a little concerned since it was ordered & shipped during the post-Thanksgiving online shipping clusterF-bomb, but when it arrived, it looked like it was shipped from down the street instead of literally across the country. Heavy duty cardboard, spray foam, parts wrapped up and secured very well... it could've been shipped around the world twice and not have a single scratch on it.

thanks for the update! Can't wait to see the pictures, I have been looking at them but keep going towards the XL version as to have that extra swing arm clearance and where the pivot point sits in rear. Please take pics of that if you don't mind. All I hear is good things about Wilco products!

Does it sit below the bumper at hitch level? That was my main deal with the solo.

Yes, it sits right above the receiver and kind of overlaps the lower portion of the bumper.

Ok folks, I started a thread w/pics for the Solo in the Racks, Hitches & Towing forum.
