We just pick up oue SOP EX AWD .My husband is concerned about how you can see right behind engine to wheel wells.here in Michigan there is a lot of salt put down and we're concerned about next winter. Anyone have any wisdom on this?

Honda recommends cleaning behind the wheels. A good touchless car wash should have options for an underbody wash.

I understand that concern. Here in Panama city Fl we have sand... lots and lots of sand. sure the roads are paved, but the sand has a way to drift and collect everywhere. I can't get in my car without tracking it in. There is'nt a day that goes by that I don[t think about it. It collects inside the engine compartment and I have found it inside the airfilter "element" housing whew hew! Hmmm... an |

did they undercoat all the e's or is that just a dealer thing im in ny and mine came undercoated very well
but i do use a pressure washer in the wheel wells |

does an undercoating seal up the opening?
unless it does, the problem remains for frenchtoast and her salt. when i saw that gap, i thought about plowing through standing water and feared the worst, but trusted the honda engineers to know what they were doing... in high school i remember a friend showing off through a soaked underpass in his dads jeep-we were on the side of the road for a couple hours waiting to dry out. |
