anyone know how to read the SRS flash codes out?

I Blew a fuse out being an idiot. Now my srs light it on. I'd like to be able to check the faults before I take it in to the dealer. Most likely it is something that I caused and I'd like to find out what it is before I have to pay for it.

You have to ground the SCS terminal at the DLC to flash the codes. Since the DLC (Diagnostic Link Connector) is the connector for the scan tool, it is best NOT to go poking at the terminals with a jumper.

The best thing to do if you don't want to spend any money is just reset the SRS light - if the light goes off after the 6 second self-check, no worries.

Don't worry about the warning about accidently triggering an air bag with this procedure if you are using a jumper wire (assuming that you ARE doing the procedure at the MESC connector as specified). The special tool makes it a lot easier to connect / disconnect / re-connect, but a jumper will work fine if you do it right. Do it wrong and you just do it right the next time.

Not a question of being uncomfortable posting it, just a question of taking the time to post a procedure in a manner that all could understand.

The DLC terminals are numbered according to SAE standard J1962

Terminal 9 is the SRS service short terminal. (BRN)

Terminal 4 is a ground.

Short it, turn ignition 'ON', read the flash code(s), turn ignition 'off' then remove the short.

Note: it will not start flashing as soon as the ignition is turned 'ON', but will go off after 6 seconds, then flash the code(s).

ok, this is what I've got.
15-1
I have 3 very fast blinks... pause... 5 slow binks... pause one faster blink then the light comes back on solid.
Would that correspond to 15main 1sub?
I don't have my ETM yet, would anyone be so kind as to tell me what fault that is?
