Wax in the creases
What do you use to get wax out of the creases of the car (door handle, etc?) I can't seem to fit anything in there.

Use that old tooth brush that is too worn out to brush your teeth with. It works great for waxy crevices.

I saw a small detailing tool at Pep Boys that was made for this purpose. I think it had a small bristle brush on one end and on the other, an angled soft rubber tip. I guess a Q-tip would work just the same...

Careful with a tooth brush, they have nylon bristles that can scratch paint, if you apply too much pressure. It's best to wet the brush or area to be brushed with something like Meguiars Quick Detailer. It work as a lubricant and also softens dried on wax.
Good luck

Jackhammer, run it in small bursts
Seriously though, check at bed bath and beyond, they have some cake tools (I kid you not) they're silicon and the are perfect for detailing small crevices in vehicles. Home Depot also has a grout tool that works okay, although I've found you have to thin the blade a bit.

Sometimes you can take detailer's clay, and make a pointy edge / corner with the clay bar to fit down in the crevace. You then spray the lubricant that comes with the clay into the crevace, and use the clay to remove the wax.
