Possible transport to VT

I wanted to run this by you guys first - I'm not even sure it will happen, but there is a good possibility that Captain will be adopted by a family in Vermont.

I'm curious, could we put together an EOC transport for this guy if it happens? We (NCSBR) are so turned off by the whole transport idea - mainly because we have seen it fall apart at the last minute. When that happens, it causes a lot of hardship to a lot of people - not to mention the dog(s). I usually wind up making the whole trip - it's just easier that way...

So, rather than me making the whole trip, I was wondering if there were enough E-ple that would help transport a Saint from North Carolina to Vermont?

What do you guys think? Is it even possible to pull this together - assuming the adoption goes through that is, I mean Captain isn't even adoptable right now - nor has the application even been processed.

What do you think - am I totally insane?

wait, maybe that's not the best question to ask...

The boy in question...
(promise he doesn't stink like he did when I first transported him...)

I can help!

Have you put together a route?

What about a paid "professional" transport...the dogs that we picked up from marion AK were on a paid transport and everything went very well.

That's possible, all participants making 2 or 3 hour runs north, I'm interested but it would have to be the weekend.

Right here.

I can deliver the bugger to you in Poughkeepsie/New Paltz/Catskills area. I can pick up in SE PA, like Philly or Lancaster area. Maybe Carslisle PA area. Also Central NJ is ok too.

The timing would be very critical for me. I have only few Saturdays off. Sundays would work for me. If it fell on the "right week" (every 3rd week is mine to mess with at work) I could take a weekday off.

He could even ride inside even if he's stinky.

Some people have accused me of being reliable. :D
