What's the hatorade, it's definitely better lookin' then the scion & ford, I like the cube & element.

I'd take a kIA over an american car I that category any day. I love my vettes & vipers.

And for ur info, I personally have a few friends that own a kia and they have had no probs.

P.s. As far a design is concerned almost EVERY company can be gulity of it, so makinL that statement is pretty irrelevant.

That doesn't reflect MY personal experience-an '03 Rio Cinco, sold to a friend of mine a year ago-now with 120k miles. It was hard on tires, and that is the worst I can say about it. The plastics on the interior were better wearing than my E's, and Kia always treated me like they wanted me back, whenever I had it serviced. Honda on the other hand, treats me like dirt, and all three of the dealers I have been to have been sloppy, careless, and generally do what they want to do, not what I ask them to do-for example, use the Mobil 1 I supply-I always have to watch them through the service window, and stop them from using their oil in a hose-even though the service writer puts it in writing on the ticket! They never reset the service light, etc. I'd buy another Kia in a second! Honda too, in spite of their lousy dealers. Their cars are good at least, but for the total ownership experience, I'd give the nod to Kia. YMMV:).

Looks like it'd be a fun car to take to a rave or something. Slap a glow stick in the ignition and you're set.

I do have to defend Kia a little bit as well. My friend bough a Kia van (sorento?) and they were having a special and they got a free Kia Rio to go with it. It was a disgusting Mt. Dew color and I laughed at them almost daily. 5 years later, they have not had a single major problem with either car and are very happy with them. Cheap, yes, but going by what I've seen above, they seem like a decent deal for a car that you plan to drive into the ground (no resale value).

I still ain't gettin' rid of my E. :)
I gotta agree! Although, if no AWD that'd be a killer for me. I too would still be very hesitant to buy a Kia though.
