question?? are these cables the same?? for ipod video hook up in element

I bought the pioneer AVIC-F700BT in dash player

My question is i already have white video cables at home for my video ipod. I used this cable at home in my house to watch videos on my tv from my ipod. . The cable has red white yellow RCA hook ups and a USB.

Can i use this calbe or do i have to buy the car one. They look the same..

will mine work or do i have to buy the car cable??

Buy the Pioneer cable. It'll work the way it's supposed to for audio and video. I think that without the Pioneer cable, the headunit will not recognize your iPod as a source.

Anyway, I've got the same head unit, the correct Pioneer cable, and it works just like it should.

why not test it with the cables before you finish the install, if it doesn't work you know you need the other cables, if it works then you saved money ;)

ok this is what you have to do...the stereo jack is where you have to run the video through i know it sounds ass backwards but it works and than set the source of your reciever to aux and it should work...do you have the e brake switch so u can watch movie without having the e brake up..
