Just got home from the Anza Borrego State Park in California, it was amazing out there! Lost of doable trails for the Element. If you live in the southern california area you should check it out. Also you can camp anywhere in the park, the only state park with this feature.

Thanks! they were painted when I bought it from the previous owner, and its a 04. Fishing was great except I couldn't find a recipe for fossils...haha

Man that brings back some good memories. Borrego is my old stomping grounds. I moved to Charlotte from Alpine 3 years ago and am trying to make my way back to the west. If you haven't tried the mud caves or split mountain, you have to look into it. Very scenic and perfect camping weather this time of year if there isn't a storm blowing in from San Diego (it gets super windy).

Anza Borrego is a great space. We were just there! When we go back I think the visit across Salton Sea to this funky City (which the name escapes me) I think will be a must. Found a lot of "sandy" trails. The E is raised 3" 's, it helped a lot... or the hack!!!

yes a trip to the Salton Sea is a must! be sure to check out salvation mountain and a stop in bombay beach. just don't go during summer or all you will smell is dead fish... so the lift really helps? ya we scraped a few rocks but the stock E handled a lot better than i thought it would! Love your set up by the way! My dream is to get an E camper top one day.
