Why didn't you just remove the silver one and paint it with black spray paint? That's what I did with my front and rear H logos. I removed my Elemental logo though.

I thought about painting the silver one, but it's much less hassle to just pop the old one off and stick a new one on. Otherwise, I've got to remove the old one, spray it, wait for it to dry, get emblem adhesive, be careful not to apply too much, clean up the gunk that squeezes out, hope the spray paint doesn't chip off or fade....$20 for a self-stick, OEM black suddenly didn't seem too bad.

Plus I've now got a silver one for eBay :)
