What engine mods can be done to 07+ SC ETC..

I'm in the works of selling my 2004 Element EX AWD to move on to something with more flavor, I'm wanting to move onto a newer car with like I said with more flavor. I'd be interested to know more about what Engine mods can be done to the 07+ Honda Element SC's. I know the older 03-06 stuff is Drive by Cable and makes modding easier if things get hard core down the road, I know the E isn't a said sports car. But I'm not ruling out building one up over time if I ended up with one. So My question is, let's say stuff like the K24A2 Headswap, All Motor builds, intakes manifolds, etc.. limited by the DBW?

If I decide to get one, I'd want a Manual if I can locate a lower miles one. but the Auto isn't totally out. So i'd like to hear your comments either way

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong area

Not only is the DBW limit what ECU mods you can use but you have 2 ECU's from 2007 +

I've had an intake on my 08 SC for a while and left it there. Not the greatest vehicle for making fast lol.

If you're comparing manual to manual 07 is technically a more refined system and DBW is not necessarily a bad thing (F1 and many others use it) K tuner is available and K24a2 swap/ZDX TB N/A mods apply to a point, the Ktuner for the 05 however is far more developed and besides A/T control you can also run boost, difference is MAP vs MAF and lack of boost tables written for 07 due to low sales. (I bugged the crap out of them for the low down), if you're keeping things mellow though, a mild N/A TSX engine is a great choice, my plan for my 08 after I swap to manual ;)

Side note, if you have an 05 you can run rsx base A/T ECU/harness and run the 07 5speed A/T
