CAT converter 2008 EX replaced 2 times in 8 months

I had my 2008 E CAT & sensors stolen in Sept 2018. They replaced it with a non OEM model, but it made weird tinkling noises. When I took it in 4 months later for maintenance & asked them to check the noise, I was told exhaust manifold was cracked, caused the noise & they replaced it, but itvstill had noise. A week later the CAT literally imploded & they said it was just a bad CAT, replaced it under warranty. That one also made weird tinkling noise. 4 months later that one also went bad, is blocked & the shop owner wont speak to me. The service advisor told me to go to a muffler shop & get a diagnoses which I did & they said CAT not good. The shop says no warranty on it & that they told me there was no warranty on it when they installed it, they didnt. No troubles with the car prior to theft. 119k miles, 4wd auto trans, no offroad, city & freeway driving. Another mechanic says replace CAT, but the original CAT replacement was insured. I dont want to go back to original shop as I think they dont know what they are doing & improperly installed the CAT &/or the sensors, so Im afraid to go back there. Im calling my insurance, but right now frustrated, any suggestions? I know if there was damage done to anything relating to the theft, my insurance will cover it. A new OEM CAT in Calif is about $1900 dealer price not installed. Could it be I need an OEM CAT or what?

Aftermarket catalytic converters, air/fuel sensors and lambda sensors are junk. Replace with OE Honda parts. If there are no engine misfires the OE catalyst will last a long time.

It is crazy to me that people are stealing exhaust parts off of cars! Its also crazy that new exhaust parts cost so dang much! I guess one causes the other, but come on people..consciences anyone!?
