First time posting, long time fan of Es - price question

Hey y'all, happy to finally be posting here. Tomorrow I'm looking at a 2011 Element EX AWD. The seller is asking $10995, which is at the low end of the KBB value range. It has 147k miles and is in mint condition (at least in the pictures.)

Curious to know y'all's thoughts on that price and general thoughts on 2011s in general. Do '11s have any notorious issues? Or anything, in particular, I should know? I live in the PNW and I hope to build a platform bed in the back using one of the badass plans I found on here.

Elements are hard to come by in my area, and this particular one comes with a nice roof rack and is the color I'm looking for, so I'm swooning over it. Any guidance is appreaciated!

2011 was the last year

2011 was the last year of the Element so you are getting one with all of the kinks and recalls worked out. The exterior appearance has been tweaked for a second time - new grill, squared off wheel wells, silver striping across back. And best of all, this model has a feature that previous models don't have, a external temperature indicator!

My biggest concern is the mileage (and the largest deduction). MY E, being 12 years old, has that kind of mileage. No major issues with mine, and this one may have been a commuter (better for mileage purposes), but, would definitely recommend having a third party mechanic make sure there are no glaring issues. Like you said, this seems to be priced well, so, with a clean bill of health, I would say "Go for it!!".
BTW: WELCOME, WELCOME!!

Instead of giving a politician the keys to the city, it might be better to change the locks.

2013 was the last year, not 2011.

I know we all love our Elements, but that sounds a like a high price for a car of that year an mileage. Man, I'm getting ready to sell my 2010 and I'll be happy to get half of that.

That seems like a lot of mileage, but it depends whether that is city or highway miles. Best bet is always to find a trusted mechanic to inspect it.
