Element camper line

We are a new company that is just starting out and we are looking to see where there is a need in a Honda Element camper line. We have gone through various forums, searched through different companies and we would like to know what products Element fans would be most interested in. One thing that has caught our attention was the astronomical prices for Element camper sets. One company is selling a cabinet alone for over $2,000.00. On top of that, they are eight months behind!

Our goal is to create a product that is similar (but obviously not the exact design) but much lower in cost to customers. Before we start designing such a product, we want to first make sure that there is a need. We would appreciate your input! We would love to offer a full line of camper furniture, but before we start focusing on stuff that WE think needs to be created, we want to know feedback from Element fans on what YOU would love to see created!

Please feel free to leave us a line below with a drawing or a picture of a product that you think would look good or function well in a Honda Element camper. Once again, we are a brand new company and we donít have a website up yet because we want to create it in a way that our customers would enjoy it! We thank you for all your thoughts and creativity!

I think there is a need for lower-priced camper products. Are you planning on offering the pop top option?

I would definitely be interested in a nice cabinet for the back. Similar to the old Westfalia's or the 5th Element one you mentioned. What is important to me is nice fit and finish as well as the ability to easily install and remove as I often move/haul large objects in the back

I don't think you need to ask if there's a market though, because if the only company currently in the market is 6-12 months backlogged on orders, clearly people want a quality camper kit.

Couple of ideas

I spend a lot of time in my element

consider making a low profile version that doesn't interfere with a double sleeping platform as well as a full depth version
A space for a battery bank, along with usb ports and outlets
a door that functions as a desk is a plus
light weight (obviously)
easily removable/added to element
storage accessible from inside the element as well as from the back
offer a super pricey carbon fibre edition!

hope that helps

Would love to see some pics or sketches of ideas for this! Would you be able to make a roof top tent option as well?

I'm excited to hear about this project! I live in my Element for half the year and am looking to upgrade my systems.

Bonuses:
-affordable
-light weight to save on gas
-adjustable and multi-use systems (cabinet doors can fold down into table, etc)
-bed frame that is low profile and can be either single-size or pull out to double
-sustainably sourced materials are always better! Recycled wood, bamboo, hemp fiber, recycled plastic

Get in touch if you need any prototype testing on the west coast! 🏼,🏼
