I was planning on using the Plasti-Dip stuff on my rear bumper cover, grill and rims. I wondered if the Plasti-Dip stuff would be rugged enough for the rims but A LOT of people swear by the stuff for that. I thought I might try it as I don't have the $300 to powder coat my wheels. I also hoped the Plasti-Dip stuff would be easier to touch up if a scuff or scratch did occur.
Hey, thanks for the info on your E and the tire size variations. My E is 4 wheel drive but would probably not make the back country camps I like to take my Nissan truck on just due to ground clearance issues. I recently added a 64" Yakima roof rack and etrailer hidden hitch to my E. I plan to camp with my girlfriend in the E, so being forced to cuddle in close quarters with her isn't going to be a bad thing.
