The previous owner put a $5000.00 paint job and $2500.00 in rims and tires on it. The red paint looks like a 16 coat Porsche red. It's an awesome paint job when seen up close. I'll be posting another shortly because my wife hates this car. My previous 2003 Orange Element had 308K miles on the original engine & tranny and it was time for me to let it go. It was running well but needed a couple $K in suspension work and there was no guarantee as to how much longer the engine and tranny would keep going. I got my money's worth out of it and it went to a college student in Sacramento. I love these Elements.

I have one with the plastic bumpers and wheel wells. I want to paint them but I only see grey or black for bumper paint. I want to paint them orange. Do you have a suggestion on the paint you used?

The same paint was used on the standard plastic fenders and bumpers as on the metal body. It appears to be holding up well. No chips or peels. The car is kept covered and only hand washed.
