Looking for a 2 inch receiver hitch for my 09 SC. I need to put a ATV Carrier and the little 1 1/4 wont fit. I wanted to see if any mod to a 2 inch receiver hitch would allow it to drop down a bit further to clear the bumper without having to trim as I do not want to trim my bumper at all. Please let me know if anything can be done.

I am not clear on why you would have to trim anything. Is it the carrier that would interfere with the bumper or the receiver?

The rear bumper on the SC's and the 09 & 10 come down a little lower than previous years necessitating cutting away some of the plastic. It's a common occurrence, have you seen a Mercedes Benz SUV with a trailer hitch? They have to cut out a 3"X3" piece of the lower bumper to get it to fit.

It's not that big of a deal and if done right will be unnoticeable.
