I am looking to change my front struts. My neighbor has a 1.5 ton jack that hes willing to let me borrow. Is that good enough to use on the Element? Or is that jack gonna get busted?

1.5 tons = 3000 pounds. E weighs about 3700 so it should be able to lift either end. Lift it from the front center position then put jack stands under the side jacking points.

Yeah, the Element won’t come anywhere close to stressing the load capacity of a 1.5T jack. However, some of the 1.5T jacks made these days are smaller in size, and may not have the lift height you need or want.
