2-3" wider, 4-5" longer, same height, same shape, same everything.... and electric

That's what this needs to be.

I would agree besides the electric part but that's just my opinion. I know a lot of people love the electric. Not trying to start a gas vs electric war here just wanted to agree with most of what you said. Bring back the ELEMENT!

So like a regular car….? Then it wouldn’t be a little box. No thanks.
It's not that Honda is going to make another element. It's just what my wishlist is based on use for daily work driving and carrying my road-bicycle for regular riding.
All my cars are gas/gasoline/petrol. I drove an F-type daily till I acquired a mint single owner no rust 2010 LX about 6 months back because I don't like carrying my bicycles on a carrier outside one of the other cars. Now the Element is my daily.

I am not on the horizon for an electric mover, but the element with its flat floor might be a great first one.

Just wishful.

3" in width and 5" in length adds barely anything to a box that is 170"L x 72"W x 70"H.

Just in case, let me state for clarity, that is 1.02% (One Point Zero Two Percent) longer, 1.04% (One Point Zero Four Percent) wider. I wish like I can put a bet down somewhere that you won't even notice that change visually. But it gives tremendous internal latitude for more use, more versatility.

I've had my 07 SC since new. If I were to redesign it for what I like is: 12'' longer, and a V6. That way you can store bikes better/sleep in it better and with the 6 cylinder the gerbils wouldn't have to work so hard under the hood.

If you might be interested in a giant rear wheel drive Element, this might work.

Bring it back as is, the 2007-08 with the sunroof, 5spd, and same engine. Why mess with what works well. Then maybe explore a hybrid and EV version.
Here’s my extensive, but not exhaustive wishlist.
  • Prefer all electric, but at least make it a hybrid
  • Figure out a way to make the rear doors slightly larger and (this seems almost physically impossible) able to open independent of the front door, but still be suicide style. Kind of like how some French door fridges are now.
  • Add back the handle that releases the front seat all the way forward how they have it on the older models. But keep the seatbelt on the shoulder, not attached to the sidewall.
  • Figure out a way to shift the rear strut mount cavities laterally so they don’t butt into the floor pan
  • Hide the catalytic convertor
  • Add like 2” to the suspension
  • Make the sun roof and rear door windows motor operated and make the sunroof fully openable without removing it entirely.
  • Move the rear roof rack mount farther backwards and/or make the top rear lip of the hatch plastic so I can slide things over it without worry
  • Bigger brakes
  • True tow package with trans cooler (I’ve heard rumors this may have been a thing at some point?)
  • Modern radio with CarPlay, but with physical buttons as well
  • External step-ups to access the roof like how trucks have in their bumpers now
  • Redesign the bumper area that traps leaves and stuff up under the front. I’ve pulled a few dead birds out of there. Neither me or the birds enjoyed that experience at all
  • Redesign the rear bumper area so it doesn’t rust out so easily
  • Middle rear seat, optional rear-facing jump seats in back like an older station wagon
  • Fix whatever makes the lateral windshield covers fall off
  • Fix the leaking and cracking problems with the windshield in general
  • Reinforce the side seam on the drivers seat better, as well as the plastic wrapper on its side
  • fix the rust issue on the rear strut area
  • Add ability to lock in 4WD, not just the differential AWD
  • Move the damn oil filter off the side of the engine
  • Make it so I can actually wash the rear out with a water hose
  • Cup holders that will fit a nalgene
  • Angle gear shifter that I can’t accidentally knock into neutral while going down the highway

All that said, if they just re-released my element as-is today, I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.

Some of the other forums I'm in, like, the Alfa Giulia one, the manufacturer regularly trolls it for info and a pulse on the fanboys, fangirls, and fanthems... Why isn't Honda here? Morons.
