These two pictures are the top and bottom pieces for the Element grill.

I went down to the Honda Dealership today and made the prototypes. Due to the size these would not work with a front license plate.

We will now be working on getting behind the bumper to attach a grill from behind.

Does that restriction apply to the one-piece bottom grill as well?? Most provinces here in Canada require a front license plate. :?

I agree at this point. And I think the Canadian made one will allow a front license plate as well.

I do agree as a manufacture, the canadian grill does look good, a great one-off, my only question is the airflow it may restrict. I will not ship the two-piece grill with the license plate cut-out for air restriction reasons.

When making the grills the upper grill allows intake, but to block the lower grill and condenser is not an option with summer upon us.

These are results from the Honda S2000 grill we tested

We are currently trying to produce a protector that mounts behind the bumper. This would solve any problems with a front license plate. The two piece, and one piece we have are products we continue to gather feedback.

I don't think airflow restrictions are a real concern. If you go to the manufactures website you can see they carry grills for pretty much all trucks/SUV's on the market. If airflow was a real issue I'm sure they would have had many concerned customers contact them. They look like an established company with a quality product.

Hey lets face it, both these companies look like they make a quality product and I'm sure people will be satisfied with the product they choose. I haven't decided which way I'm going but it will be interesting to see peoples opinions after they have purchased their choice :!: :?:

Cheers
