I just checked on the price for one on 3-6 from J's Garage and received the following reply:
JDM Honda Element
Eagle mark 75735-SCV-J00 : 3310yen
+Domestic/Shipping costs : 1550yen
5% of commission : 243yen
TOTAL : 5103yen
5103 = $63.01 according to a Yen to Dollar converter I found using google. As I recall, before the earthquake the news reported that the Yen was at a all time high against the Dollar. $63 for a emblem/sticker is a bit steep in my opinion. Perhaps a large group could negotiate a discount of some type. Here is the email: j's garage export co ltd <[email protected]>
I was wondering anyone has one available, I looked on amayama.com, they told me about $50 dollars, per price then they refunded me the amount because they said it was out of production. I then checked with J's Garage Export and he quoted me 14850 Yen = $140.18. If someone has one available to sell me or if we can start another guy buy that would be awesome because I would hate to pay that much for a emblem. Anything would be great.
Someone at the EOC Meet in Dublin, OH mentioned some interest in the JDM Element gas door. In Japan, the Element had a remote gas door release. The US version has a little fingerhold for opening the door. The JDM version has cleaner lines, but will be a little more challenging to open. It might...
would anyone be interested in a group buy for window covers from https://www.vanmadegear.com/ ? Theres been posts in one of the element facebook groups detailing prototypes being made... once theyre made, I'm assuming some will be available and Id expect a group buy to get the price down.
I have talked with the owner of Fortune-Auto and he is willing to put into production a full coilover for the Element if I can get at least 5 people to commit to a purchase. Right now I am just trying to get your opinions or questions whatever it may be. I hope that he will soon join us here on...
I have contacted JDM Japan about purchasing the Power Door Lock switch backing plate (#10 below) for the US passenger's side. This does NOT include additional parts needed for the swap, it is ONLY the plate surrounding the switch and continuing behind the door handle.
Part + shipping to my...
I'm trying to get Aluminess to build us a replacement bumper with swing away tire carrier (and maybe a couple of fuel cans and a battery box). They make very nice off road bumpers out of aluminum which would be perfect to keep the weight down and the coolness factor up! 8) Anyway I contacted...
