Depends, any idea what they changed to get that?

From lizzurds link:
For 2010, power and efficiency improvements result from the engine's compression ratio increasing to 10:5:1 from 9.7:1, fuel injectors with a finer spray pattern, larger intake valves, spark plugs with extended electrodes, friction-reducing piston rings, higher-precision timing sensor and a higher flow-rate exhaust system.

Ladies and gentlemen, flame(war) on!

If I had a choice between a "High Performance" E and a "High Mileage" E, I'd go for the latter.

Then again, I guess I get my performance thrills on two wheels.

Word. Maybe kick the SC's HP and give me a AWD Diesel EX!
wow! 180hp 21/28 mpg on 2WD. I might consider this in an Element.

I agree! The increased MPG sounds great, but at what price?

All thats required is regular unleaded.
I think a bump to 180hp would be great. And bumping the mpg is gravy.
