DARN, was hoping for the 180hp.I don't think there's a power boost. According to the 2010 Element owners manual the compression ratio is 9.7:1 while the 2010 CR-V is 10.5:1
There isn't going to be a diesel. Honda foray into diesel engines for the North American market pretty much died when they were having problems with getting the TSX diesel certified with an AT.Nothing about the new Diesel.....guess they'll issue a suplementary manual for that.
I believe the problem was with the newer high output diesel available in the Euro Accord. Honda can make it pass with the use of UREA, but Honda wanted to sell the motor without requiring UREA.There isn't going to be a diesel.
