Great Photos Guys!

Wish I could have been there, but I was stuck in places like this:

I did find something to do to pass the time though:

Do you recognize this house in Boulder, CO?

It was the Mork and Mindy house!

I am glad you liked the campground. It is a very cool place.

You can follow my adventure HERE.

Regards,
Greg

Lassen bears.
Lassen panorama.

The viewing of the bears was complete with idiot parents who let their 5 little kids run around outside their car within 100 feet of this mother bear with twin cubs. As Freeman John said, "Darwin Award nominee".

Great photos Tonya!
Wish we coulda stayed till Friday to see the cavern and those bears!
But the Tear Drop Trailer Rental place wanted it back on Thursday.
Left Auburn (where we dropped off the trailer) and drove over Donner Pass (saw Cabelas) and spent a fun night at a casino in Reno.
We wanted to avoid driving through the desert at peak heat time so we lolly-gagged our asses down 395 and turned a 5 hr drive into a 12 hr.

We got through the desert without melting due to a line of summer thunderstroms that stretched from Mammouth to Mojave.
(Miss Ellie got washed and it cooled the air wonderfully)
Stopped in Bishop for pastrami sandwiches, gelatos and the world's best chili cheese bread (took two loaves home) at Erik Shatt's Danish Bakkery.
We had a splendid drive back to LA. :)

It was a great time and we enjoyed the hospitality emmensely!

Where to next year?
I'm thinking about the Redwoods again but this time at a previously scoped out, small 44 site campground with a creek running through it,
located smack-dab-in-the-middle of a grove of Giant Old Growth Redwoods with solar showers.
