Hi Guys,

New here, and joined because a long lost bug to buy an element (lost when I moved to the UK but back in US now) has bit me hard again and I went ahead and put in a price request. Looking for a AWD EX with Navi and the price is without Navi but will need to negotiate.

Seems there is High availability in my neck of the woods, which seems to explain the price drop a bit, but wanted to know how close that may be to invoice.

Hoping to join you guys soon as a proud owner of an Element!

Please don't buy an Element, for your own sake.
Bengoshi-San,

I am very confused here. :?

In this post you just posted today, you mention you possibly will start modify your E as soon as you paid off your E, which probably mean more money & more time you will spend with your E, then you are telling people don't buy E?

Could you help us understand problem with your E, so we could start helping you. At the same time, help other potential E buyer understand problem with your E, & maybe help them understand how everyone in this forum are welling to help each other, if ask.

Peace & good luck with your E.

If you don't mind working on excel sheet a little, here is link to a very useful excel sheet I used when I bought my 09.

I also used edmund.com to find invoice price of specific model I purchased. Here is for 2010 Element EX AWD with Navi.

Remember there is "Factory Holdback" & potential "Factory to Dealer Incentives". Also depend on how long the car is on the dealer's lot which influent how urgent dealer want to sell the car. So yes, it is possible to get a new car lower than invoice before tax & license. When I purchased my E, I found out dealer was getting $1000 "Factory to Dealer Incentives", which customer normally does not see.

Good luck on your new E shopping.
