Hello everyone,

My longtime Element pal (2003) recently gave me some hick ups with the AC. It no longer blows hot or cold air. I took it to someone for a diagnosis and the only thing they could come up with was a potential issue with the "Climate Control Panel". I haven't seen many people talking about such and issue, so I wanted to reference with you all to see if such a consensus could be true.

They noted that it didn't seem that there was any signal getting from the controls to the system to engage either hot/cold or the fans to kick on.

Any suggestions are welcome!

I had this problem on my Acura.
It was the relay.
Try swapping it with a known good one.

In addition to the relay, check the fuse. I once had my Element air conditioner not blow cold air due to a blown fuse.

Hi,
Well, the first thing I would check, is to see if the clutch is engaging and go from there.

If the Compressor Clutch is engaging next get you manifold guage and check pressures.

No pressure, start looking for a leak.

Electrical or mechanical, but you have to find out which,

I had this problem. I replaced the old fuse for $3.00.

same problem, mine was the relay... a couple bucks on Amazon
